Quick tip of the Git day

If you were to run into issues where merge conflicts are a concern, it is helpful to create testing branches for the sake of merging. This helps keep your master clean from the merge conflict until you know how to resolve the conflict.
When you are done with your changes on your branch (saved and committed). Check out your testing branch and then do a merge from the branch you were in into your testing branch. This helps you determine if the merge will be successful on your master template.
